Outer Mission Terrace is a charming hilly neighborhood along the southern edge of the city. In the beginning of the 20th century, the neighborhood naturally evolved as an extension of the nearby Mission District, with many of the original residents being of Irish and Italian descent. Until this day, the area prides in diversity, making it one of the most welcoming neighborhoods in San Francisco. One of the popular spots include Cayuga Park, a unique area featuring over a hundred of wooden statues carved by the park’s founder.
