Also known as Upper Fillmore or Lower Pac Heights, Lower Pacific Heights is a down-to-earth neighborhood that isn’t quite as swanky as more northern communities. Previously a part of the Western Addition, this neighborhood stretches from Pacific Heights to Duboce Triangle. Lower Pac Heights features historic Victorian homes and modern condominiums, providing the neighborhood with an interesting blend of old and new.
If you’re looking for something to do in Lower Pacific Heights, there are plenty of places to visit. Japantown is a major hotspot here, and Divisadero and Fillmore Streets are home to many shops and restaurants. The annual Cherry Blossom Festival also brings the neighborhood together, so there are plenty of ways to feel like you are a part of this lively community.
