I WOULD RECOMMEND RON AS HE IS A SMART DOWN TO EARTH, SELF MADE, STANFORD MBA
I purchased my first house in SAN Francisco with Ron in 2008. I met Ron two years prior when I had a very limited budget. At that time, and over the years, Ron had patiently taken time with us, showing us a full range of good investment fixers while always being mindful of our constraints and place in life; and how we wanted to eventually live (I was not from SAN Francisco and certainly did not come from money). Ron talked me out of purchases that would have saved him time but not benefited us, often putting our interest ahead of his own. I bought a home in July of 2008 with Ron and the value of that first home has appreciated 2.5x’s; much of the money was made in the purchase, Ron’s advice made all the difference, he had advised that I lower my offer to better approximate the value, despite my fear of losing the deal and his potential loss of commissions. We got the house for much less as a result and still happily own it. In 2012 I sold my company, and came back to Ron with a large budget and a family of 5 seeking to find more space. He showed us properties from $5-$15 million laying out his advice and being patient. Again, Ron convinced me to offer lower bids to protect me and he kept me out of several bidding wars on inferior properties. We fortunately lost some bids as he put our interest first. I think this is noteworthy as Ron again chose to slow our purchase process in order to protect us over his winning quick commissions. He supported us for years sacrificing multi hundred thousand $ commissions. Eventually, we bought our dream home under his guidance and it is a rare find. He was never pushy and clearly put our interest first on our 2016 purchase. I would recommend Ron as he is a smart down to earth, self made, Stanford MBA who understands the value of hard work and finding fit. He knows SAN Francisco better than any brokers I met, and they respect him. He is strategic and lays out trade offs while articulating and weighing the investment and emotional side of home purchasing. I trust Ron immensely and will absolutely continue to seek his advice and recommend him to friends.
